moparbuilder Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 This the AMT Plymouth Prowler kit. The paint is a 2 stage Lamborghini Murcielago color of yellow pearl from Cobra Colors with an Omni Urethane clearcoat. I built the kit box stock with the only deviation being flocking on the interior. Take care, James Oh BTW: This is NOT the snap kit, but the 130+ parts one. What a PITA!
DRG Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 I just purchased this kit a week ago and have not had a chance to build yet. Good job, looks like a nice clean build.
Foxer Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 wow .. so good to see one getting built! This looks grand .. the yellow and black really looks good! Probably been said many times before, but who would have thought back in the 60's we'd see a Detroit built hot rod!
1972 Satellite Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 There she is. Looks real nice too. Sure that ain't the Chrysler Prowler?
nails3825 Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 I like the color choice, nice work! I wouldn't mind taking it for a spin
Raul_Perez Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 That's a nice clean build, James! It's too bad that those bumpers are so big, but they had to be there to meet the safety standards... Thanks for sharing!
jimnohio Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Thanks James........ see your pic here! (and many more from this forum)
Harry P. Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Very nice! Hard to believe today, but just a few years ago Chrysler was actually building this car! Man, how times have changed at Chrysler...
