Dang it, he did it again, I blinked and he posted something! LOL

Romell, man, bro, that so far looks down right beautiful man. I love your attention to detail. But if you don't mind me asking, how much did the harness set you back?

Mopar thx for the compliments again, the harness set only cost 8 bucks I got it from http://www.stradamotorsports.com check em out B)

Hey fellas latest update ... Just got some small detail parts done in the first picture you'll see the digital Tach which will mount on the dash. also in the first picture you'll see the four Wilwood break calipers if you look closely you may be able to see the extra detail in the calipers.

calipersandplugs002.jpg

in the next pic you'll see the finished hood and in the back theres the radiator I made and electrical plug for the motor.

calipersandplugs005.jpg

you'll notice in this pic that the rims have been removed thats because I wont be using them and I need to change the whole break setup.

Excellent work, but you knew that, this is really coming along very nice. Each little sub assemble is a model unto itself....just the way it should be. Great craftsmanship on every little detail. Just amazing...it will be a very impressive model when complete.

Thx Peter , Thats truely a great compliment comming from you. Thats what I believe every model should be, a series of smaller models that make up one :D

The build looks beautiful , but that fan part, I have to be honest here man, I'm having a hard time looking at that as looking realistic man. To me it just doesn't look right there with all the other very beautiful stuff you have done bro on your build.

Actually that is accurate for one style of fan like that. They attach with plastic fasteners or other fasteners if you want more permanent. But as a rod builder I would say the us of dual fans and a shroud or a pusher and puller fan. Not sure that one will cool it enough. Looks good though. But I know he is building it to his 1:1 car so maybe that is what he has and it works?

Really? I haven't seen one like that before, that is why I said what I did for. All the fans I have ever seen didn't look nothing like that. That fan kinda reminded of one of those fans that they have in machines (I for get the machines it is in) but they have a wire like surround around them and round wire bend into "O" where the screw going through. They have a H bracket the fan and motor sets on/fastens/build into. You guys know the type I'm talking about probably. that is what this fan reminds me of. I also agree he should have used two fans and not one :)

actually this fan looks a lot like the one on my 1:1 car and I see these on hot rods at shows all the time. So I think you're wrong when you say it not realistic. This entire build is beautiful and on the mark. May I just say Keep up the great work!

I can assure you my friend that the fan is realistic and accurate I have one on my 1:1 but to be honest I may have to switch to dual fans, but as far as the model goes its only gonna have the one fan as the radiator only has room for one. Thx for your concern and compliments. Romell

when you get a chance please stop by and let me know what you think about my Chevelle build ...

:blink::o

Well, to be totally honest.....I think it stinks................................

That you can be so dang GREAT ! :D

Romell, what an absolute joy to watch. I've just spent the best part of an hour going thru the whole build. FANtastic work. B) B)

Your attention to detail and scratch building are super. The suspension and chassis is a work of art......well able to stand alone.

I too am now a "follower"......and please accept my apology for not spotting this earlier... I rarely browse the smaller stuff these days. That NEEDS to change.

Keep it up man, you're on a winner.....with your 1:1 as well. ;)

cheers

Well I would have comments sooner on this build of Romells, but I been alittle busy myself working on my own project.

Romell, the build is looking beautiful man so far, keep up the good work on it. Also I would like to apologize for what I said yesterday evening about the fan unit. I just haven't seen one like that one is all and there for it didn't look right to me due to all the other ones I have ever seen on cars looked different. I hope you accept my apologizes. I'm keeping on eye on this thread as I can only picture how this master piece will look when it's finish.

Thanks for understanding man! I'm always looking out for my follow builders and if I see something that I think looks out of place I don't hold it back, I let the person aware LOL. I'm working on the Custom general, had a heck of a weekend with him, lost my knife first so I used a blade by hand on the one part to get ready for paint. Painted the part, left it set over night, found my knife today but some how misplace the part I had painted last night though LOL so I had to make a new one tonight. So now watch I'll find the other one. That's what I been working on, I have around 4 other projects also going on.
