Hey, y'all.

As many of you know, I have been working on my 1:1 '81 Monte Carlo, getting it ready for paint. I have already patched three rust spots on the car with Bondo. I have also removed the fender badges on each side. I plan to have all sanding on the bondo work done on Sunday and hopefully get it painted Monday or Tuesday. I will be rolling the paint on with a foam roller. The color will be Satin Black with a flat black griil. i'll get some pics posted ASAP. ;)

Still have not gotten the dent out, Rodney. I think I'm just gonna paint over it. ;)

At least ya gotta try and Pop it out.

If ya had a pic of the dent, we could see how Plausible it is to pop out or not.

Besides, taking out the back seat get net you some loose change ;)

I tried using my toilet plunger, but it would'nt stick to the metal. I don't wanna pay $250 to have it pulled out, and I don't wanna drill holes in my fender, either. ;)

Try to push it out from the back. If the inner fender well is in the way, you can drill a few holes in that.

Put some vaseline on it to help it seal.

Well, spent a huge part of today sanding down the bondo work, and I sanded the gloss off of the old paint. If the weather is good tommorow, she get's her new color. ;)

i don't see anything different. where is the "mags" and the satin black paint?

Dave

Dave before you starting being a critic, Kevin asked me to post some BEFORE pictures.

Thanks for posting the pics for Kevin. Does he have any newer ones? I talked to him in the chat trying to figure out how close to the body line and door frame frame the dent was. Interesting 2 tone on this MC

 here again you rushed things and goofed up. how are any of us supposed to know that, all we got were some pictures of a car an no explanation ;)

so now we know we are looking at the "before" pictures. looking forward to seeing the "after" pictures

Dave

Kevin asked me to post them, nothing else.

come on Nick, i find that hard to believe. in your exchange or conversation with Kevin he NEVER told you why to post the pics or what he wanted them posted for? i thought he was your friend?

Dave

He is Dave, his exact words were "Nick, can you post my pictures of my Monte in my 1:1 WIP", after finding only those I asked "There aren't any new pictures" and Kevin said "I know I haven't taken any yet"
