Deckerz Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 This is a request, im wanting to start a new build soon but i need pics to start me off, i need some pictures of a 1/24 land rover chassis, i need pics of the top, the bottom and all sides along with messurments, i can then build the chassis and get it cast. Wondering why? Well we have a offroad racing competition called autocross up near where i live, basicaly you can use and car that exists or you build yourself, people usually use small cars like minis, mg metros ect, stick a v8 in the back and make it 4wd or rwd, im going to start competing as soon as iv built a car but i want to make a model prototype first.
Brizio Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Which Land Rover? 88, 90, 109, 110, Defender, Discovery, etc, etc...

Brizio Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 I should have the chassis draw for the short one (90). Or do you need the 110? Tonight I'll look what I can find.
sjordan2 Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 (edited) This won't help in terms of scale dimensions, but you may find some helpful detail here: http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&source=imghp&q=land+rover+defender+chassis&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=g1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= When I've needed information like this, I've tracked down shop manuals and parts manuals, either on eBay, from the dealer, or whatever other sources I could find. Here are blueprint-style views which might be better: http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&gbv=2&tbs=isch%3A1&sa=1&q=land+rover+defender+blueprint&btnG=Search&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= Edited May 25, 2010 by sjordan2
