rssschris Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 I am trying to get other modelers to join with me & try to convience Revell to reissue thir old double dragster kits. They had 3 that I know of 1 Scarlet Screamer Dragster / Bantam Bomber 2 Mooneyes Dragster / Sanitary T 3 Thunder Charger Dragster / Fumin Fiat I sent them an email requesting them to be reissued, Maybe if we all email them we could get these kits again. I emailed Round2 a few weeks ago requesting them to reissue the old MPC "pro stock" series kits & they actually emailed me back & said that they would like to reissue them someday. Who knows- can`t hurt to try. Thanks, Chris.

whale392 Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 The Thunder Charger and Furious Fiat are already re-issued as of this writing (in both collectors tin and boxed set); check the Double Dragster thread in kit reviews and see the builds here in this section. I too would love to see the others re-issued, as the Bantam would be used to model a friends car.

I know that AMT has reissued their Double Dragster kit- in collectors tin & boxed set, but the Revell kits are differant Chris
whale392 Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Hey Chris......thanks for catching my stupidity!! Sleep deprevation and typing (and thinking for that matter) surely DON'T mix.
buskid Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 I would love to see any Wedge type dragster released.
Smart-Resins Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 The double with the bantom ans esp. the one with the T would be cool! Very cool!
Bernard Kron Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 (edited) What's especially attractive to me in these kits are the great Chassis Research and Dragmaster dragster frames. I'd love to see those re-issued in some form. They can be found on occasion on e-bay as Parts Packs but at $30.00+ including shipping I'd like to see some more parts with them. They may be more fiddly than the AMT aprroximations but they are far more accurate. Edited July 26, 2010 by gbk1
Greg Myers Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I'm all for it,but im guessing the original molds are gone... It would certainly be a "One UP" on AMT (Double Dragster). Talk about a marketing coup.
Madd Trucker Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 How about the Tony Nancy triple dragter Hall of Fame set or even the double set
