'65 Impala SS aka Executive

Having all of the Impala talk lately had me on guard and I ran across this. It is an old show car from the early seventies called "Executive". I thought it looked interesting with the body mods. Apparently, it was recently rediscovered and the remains are now for sale.

Yup, definately a neat car, kinda reminds me of a heavily modded Low Rider.

I always thought it was a shame to see those old customs discarded. I hope that somebody does restore it. I remember years ago that there was an effort to find old Barris customs and restore them.

Being one of Joe Bailon's cars would explain why that chromed tube work on the front end seemed so familiar
