Paul B Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 A long wheel base COE! I like where this is heading. Nice paint.
rronning84 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Looks great. I am building the same truck with the same frame stretch LOL!
Jim B Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Now that's purple! Are you planning on a long wheelbase tractor or a straight truck?
toplessfury Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 thanks everyone! i havent made up my mind about what to do yet.it may have a flatbed on it for cars or i may make a tow truck with sheet metal bed.decisions decisions
toplessfury Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 here it is as of last nightthe body is just sitting on it
The Modeling Hermit Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 It's looking great so far. That would be impressive with a box drom body and a moving van trailer. I might even have to try that myself.
toplessfury Posted June 6, 2010 Author Posted June 6, 2010 ok here are a few pics the first is posed as a rat rod truck just kidding. i put some color on the tires(letters) and set the engine in place for mock up ive still got to touch up the paint on the engine but it looks good
toplessfury Posted June 6, 2010 Author Posted June 6, 2010 ok i couldnt wait to start the bed so here is some progress.frame(going to add more cross braces)is first then there is the floor and for now the sides(not sure if these will stay this shape) ill get some more done later
