Flocking from the scrapbooking section. On another forum someone suggested Martha stwearts flocking material and at Michaels when i was looking for hers i found these. G studio flocking 4 colors for $1.00. They have about 50 different colors. There only quarter once packages per color but that makes it 25 cents per container. Havent tried them yet but they look pretty good. The two packages are the far right are micro glitter, gonna try that on lowrider paint.

The fibers in the Martha Stewart stuff seem a little 'long'. It doesn't look as good as the Plaid Soft Flock brand that used to be out (since discontinued). You'll have to follow up with how that stuff looks once you've used it. I'll have to go find some... I had found some flocking in little jars at Hobby Lobby, but it was expensive, and in colors I'd probably never use.

Thats the thing about this brand, tons of colors, for sure will have to try it out because they wont be any good if they suck no matter what color they come in. Ill try them out here when i get a chance.

I have the same brand as you (From Hobby Lobby) for the 'glitter'. The scale looks to be about Bass Boat flake size, and I must have 30 different colors. I have heard of the flocking (as a matter of fact in Marks tutorial here in this section) and have been wanting to give it a shot.

Have you tried the glitter in your paint job? Is the scale of the flake "glitter" to big to shot thru an airbrush? The glitter is what I really want to try first before the flocking.

Looking at it close, I think that glitter is too big to be shot through an airbrush, I could be wrong but it looks a little big.

I don't care to put money in Martha Stewart's pocket but would be interested how that flocking works out. I've never used embossing powder either. The only stuff I've used is Ken's Fuzzy Fur.

Martha Stewarts flocking is pretty fine. I like it better than Testors brand. I've used it in a few builds already.

I've also tried the $1.00 stuff they have in a 4 pack. It's ok, but has glitter like stuff in it. Martha Stewart is what I'm using, but only when I have a coupon.
