charlie8575 Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Add wheels/tires and any 440/727. Ooohhh....very nice indeed. Inspires me to dig out my Jo-Han '68 and give it another go after 20+ years of improving my skills. Don't worry Jeff, I'll probably still pick one of yours up along the line, too. Charlie Larkin
Porky Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 (edited) Hey Jeff, This is a great looking piece !!! Edited June 19, 2010 by Porky
george 53 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 One REALLY nice thing about it is the seats in the interior are molded into it. When you find one on the bay, the seats are usually not complete. This kit had 2 part seats, the cushion AND the frame. Alot of built kits have just the cushions glued in, which this interior completely avoids by being assembled correctly. Plus, it's molded in Jeff's usual high quality style that we've become used to. Have you tried to find this kit, assembled or not on the bay? these things usually go for quite a bit! I think ol Jeff did us all a favor by poppin it. I've seen this bad boy up close, and it's a BEAUT!!!!!
impcon Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Wow! Looks really nice!! That's a must have for any Chrysler fan! The big C bodies are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too forgotten and under rated.. Now if only someone would do a '66 New Yorker and 300 in convertible and hardtop form....
george 53 Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Gary, JoHan was the only kitmaker who had the 'nads to pop the BIG chryslers. One reason why I like ol JoHan so much. Blew ALOT of these GREAT models up as a kid. Wish like heck I'da known THEN what it was gonna cost me to REPLACE those rascals! Jeff's 300 is as close as were gonna come to gettin ahold of one at a REASONABLE price!
