MonoPed Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 That's it. I have got to get me one of these kits!!
Jairus Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I actually drove one of those for 17 years and over 250,000 miles! It was a '79 with a 3KC engine and a 5 speed. I put 5 waterpumps into it! (sheesh) Plus, three clutches, 2 transmissions, 4 batteries, one starter, one head gasket, one radiator, couple dozen sparkplugs and 3 sets of sheep skin seat covers. Mostly it was a great car and probably the most dependable I have ever owned. Sold it at a garage sale between a dirt bike and a pile of old clothes. I miss that car....
mcandela Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Saludos Marcos, Me sacaste del retiro con ese modelo. Yo tuve uno real por 10 años y eso no tiene muerte. Nitido
mhadman Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 this is a very nice piece of work.. A friend of mine had one back in the early 80's...we had alot of fun in that car...you build brought back some great memories..
cruz Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 Well guys, like I said, it's not one of those cars that will win in it's category in the NNLs but it is certainly a piece that's different and one that brings back a lot of memories. Can't wait till Parsippany to show it off along with the ones that Carlos de Jesus brings from PR.
LVZ2881 Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Marcos, who made that kit??? a friend in high school drove a blue/white one that I'd love to build...
cruz Posted February 11, 2007 Author Posted February 11, 2007 This is a Fujimi kit that was re-issued recently. It is curbside and shouldn't be too difficult to get nowadays....
