Agent G Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Any copper worth his or her badge loves the Bullitt. I did this for a friend. It's a copy of his 1:1 car. It took parts from the GT, the Bullit, and goodness knows what to make it. I made the rocker panel stripes and the Pony badges on my computer. G
Agent G Posted June 22, 2010 Author Posted June 22, 2010 After the Bullitt and Phil's bucket I took a bunch of leftovers and made a GT I would drive. My personal car is all black and the wife's is metallic gray. I love 'em both so this is my kinda color scheme. All performance, no flash. G
highway Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 The last one also looks like it would be a nice undercover car! Nice job on all three.
69_charger Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 those bullitt cars are sweet, saw one of them the other day.
Greg Cullinan Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Looking good. I give you a snap,a crackle and a pop on these!!
FordWagonNut Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I like all three, but that orange one is awesome! Your right too, its a great kit.
outlaw035 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 wayne...nice builds...might need those stripes and pony emblem in the future...wife just bought a 2010..neal
Agent G Posted June 26, 2010 Author Posted June 26, 2010 Neal let me know I saved the images. The stripes were printed on clear decal paper, the badges were printed on copy paper and carefully cut out. The badges could be printed on white decal paper but trimming is a B. G
stangman Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I too love this car! I beleive that the Mustang is the best car ever made, unlike the camaro or the challenger or charger, it has never stopped being produced!
bsoder Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I agree Wayne, this is a very nice kit I've built a couple of them myself!..I was a young teen and living in SF when Bullitt came out and Iv'e probably watched it a 1/2 dozen times!! so needless to say I love Bullitt 'Stangs! and you did a beautiful job on your rendition
Harlow Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Nice!!!! What color green did you use on the Bullitt? I have one to build but having a hard time with the right color green...
Agent G Posted July 25, 2010 Author Posted July 25, 2010 Thanks all! I sprayed the Bullitt with plain old Model Master British Racing Green enamel from a rattle can. The only thing different is, after primer, I base coated in flat black. There's no clear on that either, just a light polish with Novus #2. It took FOREVER to dry even outside on my patio, but it was worth it. Next time I'll airbrush the color. G
Agent G Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 (edited) Here's another I did last year. I'm not sure if I posted this already or not. I suffer from CRS. I used the Revell kit as a base, added wheels and tires from a die cast CVPI, and scratch built the lightbar and radio gear. G Edited July 27, 2010 by AgentG
