MikeMc
Gotta agree Virgil is an artist!......I like his shiny stuff better, but love the art of weathering
coolplastic
Cranky has a "how to article" in this months issue? I need to make a run to the city and pick it up. Shiny is great but the art of "salt" is the best.

Dr. Cranky
See what I mean? Here I am in Daytona with Harry on my right and Gregg on the left. I don't know why they always insist on wearing black, and in such intense Florida heat!
Steven Zimmerman
Read Cranky's article, and pay close attention to his use of magnets. I've been using them for years to hold my model's hoods in place(both shut and open),only I get mine from www.amazingmagnets.com - I think they would work well holding 'opening' doors closed,too.........'Z'
Dr. Cranky
Steven, you are right, I think the possibilities with magnets are endless and very very interesting. I hope to one day be able to build a take-apart model, held together with magnets only.

whale392
Great Cranky; so you're saying that inhaling too much glue fumes and styrene dust will lead me to model HO scale trains?! (wait, I already do that too............ )

Greg Cullinan
Awesome work and great pics. I have to track down a MCM mag. Anyone know which book stores carry them? By the way that avatar is cool,do you have a model related business.
Darren B
Awesome work and great pics. I have to track down a MCM mag. Anyone know which book stores carry them? By the way that avatar is cool,do you have a model related business. The only place that I can get a copy of it in my town is my local hobby shop. I should subscribe to it but for right now i dont. 1.) is since most of the hobby shops closed in my area i try to keep giving as much money as i can to my lhs to help them survive. 2.) its easier for me to just come up with the $6.00 a month. I had read on here that one day it would be on the newstands with the other mags but to no avail yet. one day i plan on subscribing but the best bet for you is to see if you have a local hobby shop that carries it.
