noname Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 (edited) This is a build I picture as a sixty something work in progress/shop truck kinda thingy. Weathered inside and out. Thanks for looking. Edited July 19, 2010 by noname
outlaw035 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 nice weathering job...specially like the engine compartment...neal
John Teresi Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Very cool......I sure wish I could do weathering like yours.....great job.
W-409 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Nice pickup! That weathering looks very realistic and I like that primered door too... Great job on the engine detail, there are lots of great details! Very nice, keep on the good work, I say!
Geezerman Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Nice work !!! The more beat up and weathered these old trucks are, the better they look . Great model.
noname Posted July 20, 2010 Author Posted July 20, 2010 Thanks for all the compliments guys, I appreciate it. Sorry for the small pics..I reloaded them but they came out the same. I did this before in the past and for some reason it took a day or so to straighten itself out. In the meantime , here are a few more.
vaughn Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Really nice and like it a lot. I have got to try this one day. So cool.
Dr. Cranky Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 I love models like this. Great job on the paint and the weathering. Lots of details to keep the viewers' attention. Congrats. I hope you will show us more.
Hoosierfarmboy Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 I have a 50 pickuo kit in my project line. Probably will customize it. I like the realism you have portrayed in this unit. I can see it as a shop truck too, or just sitting in some driveway as the 'gofer' vehicle. Good work.
MikeeD Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 That is absolutely incredible! The engine compartment is the highlight...NICE work!! Any interior shots?
bsoder Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Great job on the shop truck!....outstanding weathering
vizio93 Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Nice job love the engine detail and weathering you did to it !!!
Bryce Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Very cool. Your rust looks great and I love the crank and wheel in the bed.
noname Posted July 21, 2010 Author Posted July 21, 2010 Thanks again for the nice comments everyone. I didn't take a picture of the interior because my camera was away getting fixed at the time of building this truck. I can try now but it may not come out as the side windows are in place.
