I got an e-mail from a friend yesterday.

The title said "77' Pontiac Can Am" coming soon.

I have been waiting for one of these for a very long time.

I used to own a Can Am from 2001-2007, and they are very rare Pontiac's. They only made 1377 of them. When I had mine, I contacted Don at Modelhaus and asked him if he would do one in resin, he declined. So, after several years of waiting my wish looks to be coming to fruition.

Scroll down about half way, and look under 70's - 80's cars and trucks.

That's excellant news.

Three weeks ago I also posted this news with the web address link.

I've been trying to master a 73 Pontiac Grand AM for a few years , body is pretty much done.

I forgot to add that I e-mailed RMR asking when the release would be and was told it would come out in a few months.

George,

When Ron says he's going to do something , he does it ! One of the nicest , most laid back guys you would ever want to meet . A true craftsman who produces nothing but quality products !

Hummmmmm, if it comes from Don , it has to come ! I know Donn Yost an he's one of the Reall kickk butt straight shooters out there !I think Donn has too much reputation to lose by saying somebody is a going to do something only to have it fail. Ed Shaver

I talked to Ron yesterday. He told me that it would be ready in about 2-3 weeks. I have never met Ron, and I have only talked to him the one time. He did say that he had gotten more phone calls regarding the Can Am than he has ever gotten on any of his other models.

OOOOO, That sounds SOOOO GOOOOD!!! Yeah, you can bet I'll get at least two, one to convert into a Grand Am, and one to do the LAST GTO! To ME the Can-Am SHOULD have been a GTO.biggrin.gifwink.gif

Hey George;

When I had my Can Am, I pulled the anemic 400 out of it, and replaced it with a 462. That thing would embarrass a lot of corvettes. :D
