Danno Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Speaking of last rides, I talked to a funeral director about being taken in the back of a lifted silverado, he said it can be arranged. That's uplifting.
Danno Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 To Old Hermit: Even in that group of 'rides' the Jag was a little toooo much.
whale392 Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 (edited) Sadly, the Chev' pik-em-up has the potential for a real nice finished ride (with a few tasteful removals and some finish work); but the Hearse may be beyond saving. As far as I am concerned, the Hearse having that done to it is along the same lines as the current 'Donk'-dumb phase of car builders........thanks for ruining good vehicles. charlie8575 Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 (edited) That Ford Flex looks moronic as a hearse. I'm sorry; it just does not work. And to think soon we're not going to have any decent cars to base a hearse on. I shudder to think that even someone's final terrestial journey can't be made in something tasteful and dignified. It's very saddening. The LaSalle, on the other hand, is stunning. I wish somebody would make a LaSalle in 1/25. Actually, that Packard is pretty neat, too. Anyone have any idea what museum that's in? sobpinstriping Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 That is one Bad looking Hearse. Really Bad looking here is another really bad looking car I drove by it and snapped a pic with my phone. You don't even want to see it up close. If ya saw it up close, you'd even cry a little. Purely jacked up for getting looks as ya drive by. Not Drivable at all in any way. Body rusted and banged up soo bad there are Panels pop riveted on to cover the holes. I don't even think it could roll. i used to drive by that thing all the time, pretty haggard
