LDO Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Title pretty much says it all. Full kit or body/bumpers/glass only. I think it's a beautiful car.
Peter Lombardo Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Oh, if they only did....another one of the "grail" cars for me.
59-Desoto Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 The closest one that comes to mind is the 57 Road Master by ModelHaus , could be done with a few trim changes .

dimaxion Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 (edited) I have a '57 Century made by R&R . It is a complete kit . Needing wheels/tires to finish . Contact Steve Kohler for one of these . I have a connection with this model . Actually two of these Centuries . I failed at the first paint sceme . Purple pond . I am about to try the other . Sorry , I want to keep this one . The Century script is missing from the sides . I am casting the one from the trunk to make these . Thanx .. I don't know how much conversion is needed to make a Road Master into a Century, but photos or not, personally having resin kits from both the Modelhaus & from R&R myself, I'd go with the Modelhaus kit first. R&R's quality can be a bit "iffy" at times. If you do go the R&R route, contact Steve Kohler at Star Models about it, as he's their main vendor. His home page with contact info is here: http://www.resinrealm.net/Star/STARModels.html I know Steve personally & he's a great guy & a great & honest vendor. He'll be upfront with you about the kit. Hope this helps Lee. Edited July 28, 2010 by Bluesman Mark
charlie8575 Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 There are several differences between a Century and a Roadmaster. The two most critical to a model: 1. The Century was the "junior series," using a shorter wheelbase chassis and having a shorter overall length. 2. The interiors are totally different as well pattern-wise. I would love to see a mid-50s Buick in styrene, and a Century would make a great choice, but for now, the Roadmaster is what we have. Charlie Larkin
