I added a few things to the interior of McNally's Charger like his PDA on the console, a coffee cup, and his digital SLR camera on the passenger seat.

Somewhere along the way I had lost the insert for the engine cover. I took a piece of paper and traced the opening and cut it out, transferred the opening onto a piece of sheet styrene, cut it out, and painted it.

The kit instructions and box art showed the entire back of the trunk lid painted flat black, which I really didn't care for. I thought I once saw a picture of a Charger with a different design and found it on Google Images. This design looks better and I copied onto the Charger's trunk lid.

The Story

After loading the weapons into the impound van, Det. Sgt. Troy pulls McNally aside and asks him what he is going to do next. McNally says, "I'm going to draw Harvey out by offering myself to him." Adam says, "He's gonna kill you, ya know." "Yes, I know he'll try, but I've got a plan."

The Build

The interior, chassis, and body are one and now this is starting to look like a car that McNally wants to drive.

If there is a down side to this model, besides the tall ride height, it's the lack of detail on the taillights. I painted the inside of the lenses with Tamiya Clear Red and I'll try to replicate the backup lights with strips of BMF.

Clay, I was told that Testors Colors By Boyd Roadstar Florida Orange Pearl is kind of close to Testors Colors By Boyd Orange Pearl and it comes in a spray can. Unfortunately, the Colors By Boyd Orange Pearl is not available in a spray.

Thanks Charlie and Rob!

McNally's Charger is up on 4 wheels and the front and rear spoilers are attached. The front spoiler has a slight warp to it and I did say that this Charger may have been abused a bit by it's previous owner, but I'll try to straighten it out.

I'm still hoping to have McNally's Charger done for this Sunday's Classic Plastic Show, but with a death in the family and my granddaughter's birthday party coming up on Sunday, I'll be really busy.

The Story

McNally finds a cell phone bill in Harvey's locked room and uses the number to call him. Harvey answers and McNally introduces himself and tells him that he wants to meet. Harvey tells him to meet at the other end of the warehouse parking lot at 9:00 PM where he bombed McNally's Mustang. McNally agrees to the meet, hangs up, and presses a speed-dial number as he gets into the Charger, completes the call and then drives away.

McNally steps out of the alley into the parking lot with his gun drawn and sees Harvey standing in a warehouse doorway holding an AK-47 trained on him. As Harvey steps out towards McNally, he tells Harvey to lower his rifle and he'll lower his gun at the same time. Harvey says no, aims his rifle at McNally and then a shot rings out from across the parking lot and Harvey falls to his knees dropping the AK-47 and McNally runs over, kicks the rifle away as Harvey clutches his shoulder now bleeding profusely. Det. Sgt Troy arrives in a squad car with several officers with an ambulance right behind them and takes Harvey into custody as Vic comes running over carrying his sniper rifle. "Right on target", McNally says.

The Build

McNally's Charger is finished and is posted in Under Glass. My thanks to everyone who took the time to look and to comment on my build.
