charlie8575 Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 I bought that kit from the Modelhuas a long time ago. I'll get to it soon, I hope. Great job with that. Charlie Larkin
The Modeling Hermit Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Roger, would you please tell John that it's bad manners to point? LOL This is another fine build of one of Mopars most beautiful cars. When I was in school, my Dad had one something like this, only it was a tan color. Guys used to tease me when I drove the "Granny Wagon". I came back with a reply of having two backseats for the price of one, and the next thing I knew, wagons started popping up everywhere. Word soon spread though, and if we showed up with a station wagon to pick up our dates, their parents wouldn't let them go.
MikeeD Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Oh man, I took my drivers license test in one of these things in 1963, at 16! You ever try to parallel park one of these behemoths? I felt I should have gotten a ship captains license for that! Thanks for the memories...sweet build!
Jim Gibbons Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Wow, I'm enjoying all your early 60's Chrysler Corp. models! Beautiful job on all of them.
Harry P. Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 You're quickly becoming the "Official MOPAR builder" here! Very nice!
Guest Johnny Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Builds like this just take me back to a simpler place and time! Beautiful build of a great family car!
Railfreak78 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Being that I am a huge wagon fan I love this and Mopar to boot. Great build I only have one complaint. 2 pictures? Got any more?
