well i have a 4 day weekend coming up, so ill be a bit busy on this. like i have been so far.

got it re-coated with paint, flocked the interior, made a new exhaust, foiled the trim and where the lights will be going. well here are the pics.

here i color sanded, rubbed and waxed. not perfect, but it's my first time trying it out.

I should have checked here first...I asked the flocking question in the SPC thread

I like the MS flocking and you cannot beat the price. I just bought up a bunch to pack way with my modeling supplies.

Looks really good Luis B)

While I'm not a fan of CF, it does look good Luis. Is that Modellers CF? The weave looks good. If so I might have to pick more up when I get back across the pond.

got some of the interior going. made a 4 point harness from an old hasegawa kit i had lying around. its a PITA to work with cause it has an adhesive backing on the harness material. also painted the muffler rubber black, it gives it that old school fujitsubo exhaust look. probably will paint the piping as well. i also added a little extra detail on the passenger seat, look closely and you see the adjuster knobs and the lever to move the seat forward for back seat passengers.

thanks for looking.

Love the sketched swagon. ;)

I've got this one on the to do pile along with another '77 GT, as I built one as a (semi-)replica of my second car, a '77 GT liftback. It's a shame we never got the smiley bumpers past '75 stateside. B)

That is a good looking Celica Luis. I've got a few of these kits as I want to build two of them as owner cars. The third as a short track Asphalt Racecar. Your craftmanship on this build is Great. It put a smile on my face... :)

thanks guys. i appreciate the comments. it sits in the under glass section. probably a few pages back now. theres the link under the blurry pic.

the kit is an actual 1970 celica by hasegawa. not modded ke70 kit.

thanks again. :)
