modeltruckmafia Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 This Daihatsu Move by Fujimi was built as a what if pilot program between Daihatsu and the US post office. I added the postal decals I purchased off Ebay. This is a very basic kit but with some interior work including adding some plastic strips and an area for the mail trays I a acheived the plain jane interior most postal vehicles have. More pictures
george 53 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Looks good Bro. But I'm afraid I'm just too used to those lil Jeep thingies!!
chuckyr Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 (edited) Excellent work. Your imagination never ceases to amazes me. But I hope the post office continues to buy American. Edited August 29, 2010 by chuckyr
kingiguana Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 At first I missed the "what if" part of Your post, although the way things are going I can see this happening ( lets hope not ). Maybe they cold use these to deliver those little sample packets of rice ?
Harry P. Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Nice model, but I agree that the USPS should continue to use vehicles made in the US!
Guest Johnny Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) Nice model, but I agree that the USPS should continue to use vehicles made in the US! But then seeing that most the parts for made in America cars are made somewhere else..... But yes they should buy American but you can almost see the day coming. Edited August 30, 2010 by Johnny
