krishna.iskandana Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Hello, This one is a very simple build, an oob fiat 500D from Mr Hobby (Gunze Sangyo). Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Regards Krishna Iskandana Perth, Western Australia
charlie8575 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I remember Gunze Sangyo made a whole bunch of those little European cars first when I was in fifth grade. I begged and pleaded for them because I thought they were neat little cars, until my dad saw how much they cost! Does anyone remember what other cars were in this series? I remember the 500, the Multipla and the Messerschmitt. Back to topic- very nice build. And it is a cute little bug. I think much better looking than its modern descendant (although it's cute, too.) Guest Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Way cool! Is the kit curbside? If so, is there a full detail kit of this car? Nice work, one suggestion however, use a lighter wash on the panel lines, the black is a bit harsh, and looks drawn on in some areas, but geat work otherwise.
Crazy Ed Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Hi Krishna Fun and well built. I like it. As Lee said a bit harsh on the seam lines but otherwise well done. Lee - There are two Full detail kits of that body style I know of. One is from Gunze of the Fiat Abarth Assetto Crosa (which was one of the smaller displacement cars to run in the original TransAm Series) and the other one is from Tamiya of the Abarth 695 SS. Ed
David G. Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I don't often use this word, but it's ... cute. I mean this in the best possible way. It's a neat little car and well done.
