If it has wheels and an engine I like it.

I was always partial to GM products, but always owned a Ford pickup. Go figure.

Then I bought my Lincoln. The Town Car has been one of the best darn cars I have ever had. Us old wide body types need that comfort, and the thing moves too.

Most don't realize the Town Car has the same engine/drivetrain as a Crown Vic Police Interceptor. The only real difference is the rear end ratio. When you consider the weight of a fully equipped police Vicky compared to the TC you realize they are almost identical. No comparison in ride and handling, though the Lincoln can hold it's own with an experienced driver.

Cars, busses, motor homes, motor cycles, sand rails, delivery trucks, pick-up trucks, tractors (both farm and freeway type)... I've driven just about every type of vehicle that can be licensed for American highways, and I've found something to like about each one, with one exception. The 1984 Dodge Aries K with a four cylinder engine.

Worst. Car. Ever. Over weight and under powered with a profile that looked like it was designed by a toddler. A long horizontal rectangle with a taller box-like portion in the center on top of two circles one quarter of the way in from either end. If it was just a little smaller, it could have been a prime candidate for a gov't staff car in the former Soviet Union. Oh, did I mention it was grey with a grey interior. Like the old commercial. "Svim-vear, veeeerry nice..."

But that's it. The only car in which I couldn't find something to like.

Other than that, in my opinion, cars are like women, "No such thing as a bad one, just some better than others." B)

That must be the same engine they put in the new Lincoln hearses. The one I drive on occasion is so suprisingly quick that the first time I merged onto the freeway with it, I was actually startled by the rate of acceleration! I was like "Holy Moses! This thing could give a Vette a run for its money, and I could sip tea while doing it!" B)

Yessir the very same same motor. That mother will run. First time the new Mrs Gray drove it she was all agog.

Funny too is the MPG, I average 22-23 on the daily commute which is half and half. All freeway is a blast, and I have seen as high as 30. I reset the meter on the fly once and logged 31.1 NB on the 15 between Baker and Barstow. That was at 80.

I definately love this car, and am sad it will soon be discontinued.

Peterbilt! and I've only drove 1!

As far as cars, I have driven every American brand and a few foreign ones! I don't know if I really have a favorite brand! I have had more Chevrolets than anything else but some of that was due to getting a good deal!

Full size Fords were always dependable highway cruisers and I have owned several. My current car a 1999 Taurus!

The last full size an 85 Country Squire Wagon! But have has a 66 LTD 4 door, a 64 Galaxie 500XL 4 door a 1972 LTD and a 62 Galaxie 500! All great cars!

The best land yacht was my moms old 55 Cadillac ! Followed by my 67 Chrysler 300! Followed by a 70 Chrysler New Yorker!

Honestly I have no love for any cars beyond 1985!

Had a Corvette (1963) , Chevelle (1969), Mustangs(65,67,70), Cudas(65,69,73), GTOs(65,66,67) & Lemans(66,67) Impala SS(64,67) just some of the best ones!

My favorite brand of car is Oldsmobile. My favorite was a 1971 98 4 door hardtop that I had many years ago. I like the 73-76 Cutlass models because they reminded me of the 54-56 88s, which I also thought were cool cars. I had a 57 98 convertible that was two tone blue with a matching interior, continental kit, wire wheels, fender skirts, and every power option that was available then. That was CLASS.

OK, the truth is... I am a car slut! I like them all! Well, maybe with the exception of donks, which I view as hideous character of a vehicle, possibly the owners "Big Wheel" fetish?!

Some I like more than others, some I would never buy, but they all serve their purpose. Some are for car enthusiasts, while others are nothing more than appliances to get their owners from point A to point B.

I have to agree with you on the big Olds's, I've got one of my own that I've been playing with for more than a decade.

It's a '71 88 town sedan but there's not much that's different from the hardtop 98's.

I'm a Ford guy. Gotta have my Stangs. When it comes to work I use my F150. But If it comes to not driving my Fords I'd drive a Chrysler Minivan ..... Yes I said it a Minivan. I had a 92 Voyager for a while and it was one of the most reliable and useful vehicles I had. & passengers 25+ MPG Can't beat it. Guess thats why my wifes ride is an 05 Caravan lol
