Lownslow Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 finished the chevette. hardly looks like a chevette after i chopped the pontiac bar off the grille now it looks like a old school toyota starlet. the side windows were tinted with decal paper. gonna get some outside shots tomorrow the flake is serious on this car. i think its a 77
RodneyBad Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Very slick looking Chevette. Interior looks great, nice speakers. Think they're big enough? Looks good with out the grill bar. Nice paint, can't wait for outside shots. should really sparkle.. Sharp looking wheels too.
Reeves Racing Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Shouldn't that be "Starlette" Nice paint. I always thought it would be fun to have one of these with a small block in it...
Greg Cullinan Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 I've seen more than my share of pimped Chevettes in 1/1 and this is right on point. Nice work.
Chuck Most Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Who'd have thunk a Chevette could look this cool? Sure is a far cry from my neighbor's old 'Vette, which was hand painited with an Argyle pattern!
Guest Johnny Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Shouldn't that be "Starlette" Nice paint. I always thought it would be fun to have one of these with a small block in it... Until you dicovered how much work and the modifications needed to shoehorn it in! My son had a T-1000 (Pontiac version) and wanted to do it. So we went across town where two guys were doing that conversion! Yep! He kept driving it with the 4 popper until he traded it on his Toyota! At least his had a standard shift! Otherwise those cars couldn't get out of their own way! Nice clean little build!
Railfreak78 Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Thats an awsome Chevette! It came out great!
Wolf75 Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Now if my step fathers Chevette looked like this, I might not have hated it lol
codie27 Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Nice. That paint should have some serious sparkle to it under the sun.
