ratnasty
OK guys here are my pics of the real car I patterned mine off of and some pics of my model so far. As everyone knows I cut the complete sides off of the new Chi-Town and added sides from a Polar Lights car and reworked them just a small amount. Please let me know if I'm completely off base or did I capture the car fairly close. I will admit I not real happy with the color , it seemed to darken up just a tad after the clear was put on, but oh well its too late know thanks Chuck Edited October 9, 2010 by ratnasty

Jim Kampmann
thanks guys I really wanted to replicate the older original car . I'll keep humping on it to get it finished (before Jim does ) LOL. Jim hows you coming along and are you going to modify the body. thanks Chuck Chuck, Yours is painted, mine isn't yet. Hopefully this weekend. Unfortunately, life gets in the way! I have the chassis done and engine just needs to be wired. As for the body, I just redid the wheel wells. Yours looks closer to the original. What did you use for paint? Thanks, Jim
Hondo
Thanks Chuck........ for doing it right! This is part of why I'm burned out on building older funny cars. You have to recreate it before you can start building it. OK...... say something positive here..... At least we have a starting point. It's looking great so far, Chuck. Looking forward to seeing it finished. Did you you the kit decals or Slixx?
