The Modeling Hermit Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) How about the 67 Camaro convertible from Diners Drive-ins and Dives? Just for fun; add a figure of him and a food tray with it. Edited October 1, 2010 by Kodiak Island Modeler
Merkur XR4Ti Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 If we're talking about kits that will actually sell, and sell a lot, then the S&H Torino has to be at the top of the list. Why hasn't this one been done yet?
Merkur XR4Ti Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 The Chrysler from Christine! Ok, I'll stop... Easily made with the AMT '58 Plymouth kit.

Kojak drove a Century, not a Le Sabre. Charlie Larkin I'm with ya on all the above. I remembered Mac's wagons this morning! I knew Kojak drove a Century, really I did. I was just testing you guys! G
Junkman Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 (edited) I knew Kojak drove a Century, really I did. I was just testing you guys! Roflcopter! Tis Wayne's World, ay? But I agree. That Century would be a darn nice kit to have. Edited October 2, 2010 by Junkman
Agent G Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Roflcopter! Tis Wayne's World, ay? But I agree. That Century would be a darn nice kit to have. LMFAO! Back a millenia ago I was in charge of a specialized unit that was known through out the area as "Wayne's World". Ahhh the memories, PARTY ON! G
sobpinstriping Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I like the idea of the wayne's world pacer the murph mobile. I saw a resin for the animal house lincolin that would be rad but out of my budget. cheers mat
Greg Myers Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Norm Garbowski's Tee Bucket from 77 Sunset Strip and Tommy Ivos' Nailhead Tee Bucket.
davyou5 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 The 1943/44 Green Hornets Black beauty, which was a customized 1937 Lincoln Zephyr. though if I find the 1:18 scale model I am going to customize it to the Black Beauty .

89cxsport Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 A Tucker from the movie Tucker:A Man and His Dream.
The Modeling Hermit Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I remember a cartoon that actually had human characters in it. Daffy Duck was riding around with somebody driving a Gremlin. I don't remember much more than that, but it would be cool to see that in model form.
davyou5 Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Now that I am thinking about it, from one of my other favorite 80's films, a movie called The Wraith, The Black Car was a Chrysler PPG Concept Car, I sure would like to see a kit for that film .
charlzrocks Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 The concession truck from "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" The drop ship armored assault vehicle from "Aliens" Jo's Jeep pickup from "Twister" The corpse hauling truck and chevy impala from "Jeepers Creepers" Flying cop car from "Blade Runner" and finally...the amphicar from "Pontiac Moon"
davyou5 Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I have been reminded from another topic here on this forum. I would have liked to see Ray's Green Buick Riviera from the TV show Due South.
Chuck Most Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 How about the hearse from "The Hearse"? Or that lime green hearse from "Six Feet Under"? (The lame TV show, not the death metal band.)
FordWagonNut Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 What about "The Rockford Files" '74 to '78 Pontiac Firebird Esprit? I had read somewhere on line years ago, the movie "The Car" was made in 1/18th dicast and it was between that and The Rockford Files Firebird. I'm 30, wasn't even alive when it first aired. I LOVE that show, own all the seasons on DVD and the movies that where done in the '90s.
Chuck Most Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 There's a resin kit of The Car, but I'm surprised Jim Rockford's car isn't in scale! Sure, you can build one from the MPC Blackbird, but it's a wonder no existing plastic kit has ever been produced!
Greg Cullinan Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 (edited) Don't know if it has been mentioned but as I watched Planes,Trains and Automobiles this weekend I couldn't help but think how cool it would be to have the little Dodge in a kit. Edited October 11, 2010 by Greg Cullinan
