Lownslow Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 im gonna post the music that inspires the car its built after from now on so you get an idea of what whats running through my head during the build. i shaved the headlights and what i assume was a trunk panel. molded the rear and front roll pans. and shaved the door handles. the paint is nail polish i have no idea where the wheels came from.
DocLong Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 wheels look to be those from the Alumacoupe kit.... Nice looking build. Love the color.
Ryan S. Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 This came out real nice. I like the color better that the silver, it looks right. I think a set of wheels like that also came in one of the '40 Ford kits (I built one years and years ago) but I couldn't tell you which one. Maybe the Lindberg 3 in 1.
george 53 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 That came out REAL smooth,LoLo. What WAS the original engine in that rascal? I thought it was a Wankel, or somethin weird like that. A small block Chevy is just a natural for it! Great job!
Railfreak78 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Another odd kit made awesome by you. Great job!
Lownslow Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 thanks guys, george i thought the same thing i read about GM making a wankel vette but i guess it never panned out i think im gonna track down another rear engine vette
Greg Cullinan Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Nice build, looks clean all smoothed out. Your paint never ceases to amaze me, have you ever done a tutorial, tips or tricks topic? So the music gives us an idea of what is going through your mind, and gives me an inclination of what is going through your lungs .
