cobra98 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Here's a few that i hope to finish this year 330 Cedric Isuzu 117 coupe 41 chevy truck
flamefink Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) I like the 41 Chevy, that's gonna be awesome when its done! Edited October 3, 2010 by flamefink
DumpyDan Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 That truck is so cool, I really like that frame. Awsome!
seeker589 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 The Truck is sweet! I really love the vintage Asian stuff, also. It is truly great to see how the Japanese viewed American and European design and interpreted/incorporated/adopted it into designs of their own.
cobra98 Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 Thanks guys...I agree seeker,There are some really cool looking vintage Japanese cars out there Did a bit more work on the '41.... Cut window opening in bed, fabbed a fuel tank & mount, located a grille shell ,& started work on boom & winch. Haven't decided on visor, what do you guys think, with or without?
Mark R Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 (edited) I say with the visor ! That looks sweet... Edited October 4, 2010 by Mark R
flamefink Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Haven't decided on visor, what do you guys think, with or without? Definitely with! Gives the front view an "attitude"
cobra98 Posted October 10, 2010 Author Posted October 10, 2010 Did a bit more....think I'll go with the black & blue combo
ewaskew Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Yea that truck is looking real cool and I do'nt even built those type models. However I may use yours as reference to build me one if thats ok with you. Keep the photos coming. Thanks Earl
cobra98 Posted October 11, 2010 Author Posted October 11, 2010 Thanks for the kind words Earl First coat of color on major parts & some small details done, still a ways to go but, getting there
cobra98 Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 small update...finished the engine, started the rigging, built some warning lights..yellow lenses donated by gray07,Thanks again,& bases made from parts box velocity stacks. Still a bit to do,but getting there
cobra98 Posted November 26, 2010 Author Posted November 26, 2010 Started with a bugatti gluebomb, with the idea of building a rat rod... But kinda got carried away & this is what i've got so far
W-409 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 That '41 Chevy truck looks very cool- very massive and very nice scratchbuilding there. But how "SixShooter" engine would move that truck? Maybe V8 would be better, but that's very nice and there is no any reason to change the engine, that fits just perfectly to the frame. Very good job.
Dr. Cranky Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Wow, some very exciting and cutting-edge work. I want to see more. Happy 2011!
