highway Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 (edited) Gosh darn it, Fred, get back in the truck!! Great job, Nick. I can hear that big Kenworth roaring! Oh, wait, that's because I've got "The Legend" playing in the background! I found this on YouTube, it's not the original movie opening, but it fits the spirit of the build. I hope you don't mind, Nick! EDIT: I guess I'm not the only one to find that, the truck in the video is Dennis' avatar pic!!! Edited October 30, 2010 by highway

Nick Winter Posted October 30, 2010 Author Posted October 30, 2010 Matt that video was very well done, It included my favorite part of the opening sequence, were he locks it up at the train.
highway Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) Matt that video was very well done. I wish I could take credit for it, but all I did was find it on YouTube! I thought it would fit nicely here, though. Great video Matt, thanks. Thanks. While I was looking through for it, I found quite a few nice videos. Edited October 31, 2010 by highway
Jim B Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I like it. It's not a 100% accurate Snowman W900, but it's still a very nice "Snowman Inspired" W900. I think you did a great job.
clayton Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 What kit is that?look kinda like a snap kit were did the sleeper come from?
Nick Winter Posted October 31, 2010 Author Posted October 31, 2010 What kit is that?look kinda like a snap kit were did the sleeper come from? it was the snap kit but i modified most of it.
catd11rpusher Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I hope sometime my paint jobs. are as nice as yours GREAT JOB!!!!
doogie7046 Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Looks great. I am starting one of these too. I just got the decals and need to get going on modifying the cab to the newer latch style door handles and filling in the little peep window. I watched the movie several times with my son but never thought of building it with a 60 inch sleeper. Although not accurate to the movie I think I like the look of the larger sleeper better. The movie truck looks a little too short, the bigger sleeper balances it out better.
Truck parts Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 That is a nice looking KW. What brand of paint did you use?
