Hello Kitty Viper

Tonioseven sent me some hello kitty decals and for a while i thought about doing a ferrari. but,ferrari's are played so i figured what can i build without the end result looking "cute". first thought, a Viper.

so here it is, i dont know what it is with kit makers and this car none of them get it right a lot of fit issues and the stupid gap on a warped hood. car is gonna be nailpolish pink and black with the decals. first things first get the chrome off the wheels.

update for the day after getting a epileptic seizure from watching flashdance i decided the vents would look better opened up

I agree, on both parts, the vents are KOOL and Flashdance messes my head up too...

That's actually a good looking color, gonna have to keep this in mind if I ever get around to doing my 57' Crown Vic... Kind of a rosey color to it, nice work...

here it is after some metalizing all the semigloss is drying as i type

its hard to color match the panels the body needs a coat around the front end

did more work on the viper engine is done so is the chassis

I'm not a Hello Kitty fan, but it's difficult to ignore the power of the "Kitty." You've got a very cool concept here, nice dichotomy.

Fantastic work so far Lownslow! Love that engine bay/chassis . I'm planning on getting several of these Viper kits soon & doing different custom versions. Have you had any or is there any fit issues with this kit???

it has some body fit issues but it depends on which one you get mine had a 1mm gap on the hood

viper decided to be a pain when i put the wheels on it sat too high so i lowered the front but now the rear is being a neck.

it looks aight in this pic

i redrilled the mount in the front and it sits lower

i didnt want to use all the decals so i stayed subtle with one and the hello kitty monikers

i forced myself to shave off the stock wheel wells they kept poking below the fenderline
