bajaboy5b Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Still needs a interior and the steering rack put in but besides that it's done but i mite wire the engine :/ but dun know what to use anyone know is there special stuff? i kinda new to all this model stuff i do more RC things. thaxs for looking.
W-409 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Revell's kit is not so special, the engine is too small, chassis and interior are little bad quality... This one looks nice, good weathering on it and very nice job on that rust work! Nice, engine is not so good as the body, but there I can say just that "blame Revell!" Nice job!

I am thinking about getting the Revell 2in1 57 chevy kit http://www.revell.com/model-kits/cars/85-4240.html .
David G. Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Nice work, your rusty gritty detail has a good feel to it.
Kris Morgan Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Nice work. You can get started with your engine wiring needs with a prewired distributor here. MAD

Modellpularn Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Looks cool, kind of like the Two Lane Blacktop car. It's an old Monogram kit that dates back to 1963. At the time you could build it stock convertible/hardtop, custom - mild or wild. Then it became the BADMAN, later a street machine.
John Teresi Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Jeremy........this is a very nice build.......luv that rusted look.
bajaboy5b Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 thank you all for the kind words and the warm welcome
W-409 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 If you like building rat cars, that 150 Chevy would be nice like "found from the barn after 30 years". Rust and flat tires etc.
