Took lots of rememebering but the AMT 1958 Impala 3in1, still have it complete, but that was built with my dads help, my first solo build was Revells '99 Silverado, boy was I over my head.

If it was the AMT kit, check eBay...they go all day long for under $10. I won a mint, unstarted one (60s Ford Dealer issue) for $4 a few months ago.

Mine was the AMT '58 Thunderbird ... when it was released in 1958.

It was all wheels from there on after some years of ships, planes and armor.

i do not remember the make but i would say this was the mid 90's, my dad bought me a woodie wagon...that is my first memory of building one! i remember where he bought it too....John's Hobbies on the Danforth in Toronto!

The first model was a Huey hog helicopter when I was in second grade, as for car I think it was a convertible corvette stingray but I can't remember.

My first model was back in '84. It was a Christmas present. I asked for older hotrods or muscle cars....this is what I received. Still have it and all the others I have built. I even have a few my dad built back in the 60's. Been hooked ever since.
