Scale-Master Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Finished! It is a very good fitting kit. Time spent on detail painting brings what looks like bland molded in detail at first glance to quite believable as a more than just curbside model. If you like the subject matter, you will probably enjoy building this kit too. Here is the WIP thread: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=37866
highway Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Wonderful job, Mark. I really enjoyed watching the WIP thread, and this proves you don't need tons of aftermarket parts for a great model!
Scale-Master Posted November 27, 2010 Author Posted November 27, 2010 Thanks! I am a big fan of out of the box building... Here’s some engine shots… The kit comes with metal prop rod for the hood. I’d rather it have come with a separate engine, but once it is all done it looks pretty good even though it is molded into the body..
cazxr2 Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Awsome wish I could do a kit half as good as this. Real smart 10/10
250 Testa Rossa Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Oh, wow! And it looks just like the real thing!!!!!
Brendan Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Beautiful as always. Outstanding engine bay detail. I wish all my quick builds would come out like that.
Clay Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Great job, I have the F&F 350Z, nice kit, I just sucked at the paint job.
bsoder Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) Well if it was in Harry's real or model I think I might go model, but if I didn't know it would be a tough choice!!...this must have been a pretty easy project compared to the Caterhams, but the build quality is just as nice!...
