johnnyb Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Just wondering if anyone has ever built it? Quality of kit? Issues with fit? Thanks, JB
slantasaurus Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I don't have the Caddy, but if it's anything like the other Monogram classic cars in this series (i.e. : Dusenbergs, Packards, Cord 812) there should be no issues. They are old kits and a little simplified in some areas but they're some of my favorites to build.
Aaronw Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I was asking about the Monogram 1930s cars (which includes the Cadillacs) earlier this year, and the general comments were that they are nice kits. Some took a few liberties in accuracy to allow multiple versions to be built without complete retooling, but good kits. I'm working on a Monogram Packard which should be similar and I have no complaints. Nice detail, no serious fit issues, clean castings, well thought out assembly etc.
