mackinac359
I saw this truck built and photographed in 2005 - I wanted to build a model of it and started it in 2006 modifying an Italeri 377 cab and hood. I put the model back in the box and slowly gathered parts and pieces for the build. I started back on it in mid November. The chassis is Evergreen strip #392 and the crossmembers are Evergreen #409. The above pic shows how I install glass - a tip passed to me by Rick Mark. Doug Walker make the Schlumberger logos for me. I need to trim the excess decal film off the peep window. More pics are on my site at timstrucks.com Thanks for looking! Tim

I cant tell! Awesome job tim! Edited December 9, 2010 by TKobes
mackinac359
If you look carefully in the horn snowcap - the reflection is me and my camera crouching over the model. This has to be my favorite pic I've taken in a long time. The photograph background is reflecting in the side of the hood and the person with the ballcap appears in scale. Tim Is that last picture of the model or of the real truck? I cant tell! Awesome job tim!
