The rear view mirrors look like Dumbo's ears! I love some of these 70s kits. I am about half way through building a Beetle Bus which is the window bus version of this kit. The Volks Van is the panel truck version. Thanks for sharing!

The Lug Bug was a favorite kit of mine as a kid. Through club contacts, I obtained a "gently started" kit and look forward to stripping the few painted parts and building it my way.

Very nice job on yours! Glad to see you didn't glue the kit's "grab and steer" arms to the side!
