Old Coyote Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 If one is good .....then two have to be better ......... even when they're built just for fun with no detail
jphillips1970 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Hi John - Oustanding models there - So were any of them ever produced? - I really like the first one with the inline 6's - One is good but twins are beyond words - Great job - Joe
SuperStockAndy Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Very nice! I like the second one best(personal taste).
John Teresi Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 O.C........always a treat to see you creations......great job as always.
Terry Sumner Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Gawd...can you imagine a Top Fuel car today with TWO of those engines??? Look how quick and fast they are with just ONE! I don't think they could ever hook up the tires with 15,000 horsepower!!!! What an awesome noise it would make though.....
Smart-Resins Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I dig the Pisano and love the two vintage Feds! All are great builds!
JB_Hobbies Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Nice work there! I too, want to try a twin engine dragster one day!!! Again, clean build! JB
Old Coyote Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 Thanks for all the nice comments guys .......... the twin six banger is based upon the Allred & Clarke D/D from Amarillo, Texas ........ the black beast from the Texas Panhandle held the national record on multiple occasions .......... the resin six cylinders came from J&S Resins, the injection and "plumbing" were scratch built ......... the mythical "Pisano" dragster was based, of course, on the legendary Peters & Frank "Freight Train" ....... twin small block Chevys ........ both these cars used "Two Much" chassis' and shorty bodies from Altered States .......... the twin rear engine car was based upon the Paris Brothers twin engine Gas Dragster ........ two Jeb Allen kits gave their life to build that car ......... the "just for fun" twins are both variations of the AMT Double Dragster John
tim boyd Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 John....those are super-cool, every one of them. Way to go! TIM BOYD
Krazy Rick Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Like I Said Before ( elsewhere ) .....These are Great John !!!!!
