Clay Posted December 22, 2010 Author Posted December 22, 2010 Having a fitting issue, the shaker scoop is about 6 scale inches too far back. I followed the instructions. What can I do be sides cutting new holes in the base of the shaker scoop?
oldscool Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Having a fitting issue, the shaker scoop is about 6 scale inches too far back. I followed the instructions. What can I do be sides cutting new holes in the base of the shaker scoop? That's exactly what I did when I built mine. I hollowed out almost the entire base plate as it was hitting the distributor when it was moved forward to line up with the hood opening. Then I just glued the scoop to the hood - looks fine with the hood shut.
