Nick Winter Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Is this book good and does it have a lot of helpful things in it? Nick
Nick Winter Posted December 20, 2010 Author Posted December 20, 2010 Then I'll go for it thanks Guys.
sjordan2 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I'm confused. I don't see a link or any information about the book you're talking about.
Nick Winter Posted December 20, 2010 Author Posted December 20, 2010 there are at least 4 books in the series IIRC that cover automotive or truck subjects and all of them are very good books. pricing online seems to vary wildly for them so shop smart. I did, I got it for $10
Nick Winter Posted December 21, 2010 Author Posted December 21, 2010 There's the one mentioned in this thread, one on building stock car models by Bill Coulter, one on pickups, by Bill Coulter, Terry Jessee & Pat Covert, one on emergency vehicles by Terry Jessee, one on building custom models by Mark Gustavson, one on painting scale auto models by Pat Covert, & one on automotive dioramas by Ken Hamilton, for a total of seven. There's also one on the basics of model building.
George Bojaciuk Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Thanks for all the kind words. The book has just a little bit more than the magazine articles had in content. There are also a few nice reference chapters. Unfortunately a lot of the vendors listed in the book are long gone.
Danno Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 George, Nice to see your post, particularly at this time of the year!
