Lownslow Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 this is gonna be a box stock build since it looks mean on the box art im gonna keep it that way im thinking of black with the white or gold decals or blue with the white decals. the wheel centers are gonna be painted magnesium. i already dechromed the wheel backs and molded the front valance with re-scribed panel breaks

dwc43 Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Blue with white stripes seems to fit the Fords really well. Should be a nice build.

What brown are you using? Mine always turns out too dark for a black interior, but Dodge browns are pretty dark to begin with. I have a real truck that is black with gold stripes that looks really good, if you can ever get it clean. I did a model race car in black with gold lettering, but that did not look as good to me. If you are going to use the big stripes like the ones on the box in gold, I don't think it will work as good. But who knows, and not sure what stripes you are using. All up to you man. Just thinking out loud, you know. That interior really does look good. That's the second one I have seen that really caught my eye. Makes me want to try one out one something now.
