Just tell them guys if they can't get it right put it back the way it was, which in my opinion was good enough!

Why is this always happening that when a sight it running fine it "needs to be b improved" which in most cases I have seen actually made it more difficult and had all kinds of problems that never really seem to get fixed!

In short, if it's not broken, don't fix it!

Rant off!

I'll come back in a few days or a week and see if i can get back to another page without going to my home page first. Which works faster than hitting the back button on the site!

Last couple of weeks, it seems more of a downgrade.

If it Get's any slower, we're gonna have to add a kick starter.

Maybe add another Hamster to the wheel?

The forum is working very slowly right now. There have been some problems "behind the curtain," so to speak... but those problems will be fixed and the site will be back to normal. Until that happens we all just have to put up with things being a little less than perfect. No sense complaining about it, because complaining isn't going to fix what needs fixing. Gregg already knows all about what's happening and the problems will be corrected.

In the meantime... remember that you all are getting this forum for FREE.

For the last week is has been slow but tolerable. It just crossed into the not tolerable level. Very very slow. Not so much of an upgrade.

What kind of upgrades are we getting? Will they be noticeable or is it just to make the forum run smoother?

Gregg's installing a wet bar for us!

As Harry indicated, the upgrades to the site are still a work in progress and there are bound to be a few speed bumps until it's up and running. If you've ever had to build or reconstruct a complex site, you'd know it's not a walk in the park. In fact, the entire IT/Internet team at the ad agency where I worked was fired because they couldn't pull off a client's site on time or on budget. And that included outsourcing a major Web company who blew it, too.

I hope all this upgrading and site slowness doesn't affect the delivery of the MCM T-shirt I ordered a couple of weeks ago.

The plan for a wet bar sounds great. I'll have a Jim Beam & RC, tall glass, single shot, thank you very much.

What you end up with when the lines at the ladies room gets too long!

(ask my son who is a bouncer at a local bar and has to drag out the mop)

BTW, I guess I picked the right time to take a few days off the site! But sure glad it is back and seems to back at it's best at the moment!

What's a wet bar? B)

It attaches to the rear differential between the tires for doing burnouts. Keeps the axle from twisting the wrong way. ;);)
