I found a pic of the other one and then lost track of the site before I had all the info. I had to have my brother and a friend help me find it again. Next time maybe you should pic a harder one. That was one fun search. I have seen so many cars I have never heard of before.

publicsafety Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Ok, hint #1: It's American. #2: It was originaly to race on the salt flats. I'll add more in a little while
publicsafety Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Hint #3: Was a collaborated build with Hudson Motor Company
publicsafety Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 #4: Was at the 1948 Indy 500 as a "futuristic car" seen here
CAL Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 well at least I been on the right track figuring it was a 1940s Domestic prototype. I have have found a wind-up toy of it be they fail to mention what it was modeled from.
publicsafety Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 #5: The original car build was abandoned by the company to build planes because "The War" started
Brokentail58 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 My best guess is that it is Hudson / Nash custom built land speed car. No idea on a year other than late 40's
publicsafety Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) Tip #6: The name of the company that manufactured it is in one of my posts and if nobody gets it by this evening I will post the answer tonight. Edited January 22, 2011 by publicsafety
publicsafety Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) Ok so this car was a bust... just to rare. Its a 1939 Fageol Supersonic The Supersonic is one of my fav. art deco cars. I hope you like it too. If anyone has any idea on what kits would make a model for this car please share with me as I hope to build one some day.
