Chuck Most Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Did anyone ever pick up that product line after he got out of the business? I'd love to have some of those Mopar bits, since the '77 Monaco kit is back out!
GMP440 Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Check Missing Link Resins. I beleive I saw pics of the 75'/76' Monaco front grill with single headlights on their site.

That would be the 75/76 Fury Salon, I have 4 of them, And they look great! The 75/76 Monaco was the Full Size like the Blues Brothers 74, The last Full Size Monaco was made in 1977, They were called the Royal Monaco, The midsize was the one like the DOH kit, Those came in trim levels from base models all the way to the top of the line, Brougham, In 78 They made a 2-door called a Monaco SS , It was a package that had a special interior and tri tone stripes that followed the contours of the body lines at mid level. I have the 78 Brochure and on the second page it show the car in Jasmine Yellow.
spkgibson Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Here is a close up of part of the photo, So I don't get any negitive comments about it.
ChrisPflug Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 On a similar note- does anyone know of plans for a new master or copy of the Yodel '77-'78 Fury grille for a Monaco conversion?

Chuck Most Posted January 11, 2011 Author Posted January 11, 2011 Thanks guys! A bit off-topic, but were those Yodel kits any good?
Agent G Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Thanks guys! A bit off-topic, but were those Yodel kits any good? They were pretty basic as far as being curbside models. Flat chassis pans, metal axles, that sort of promo thing. They had pretty good wheels and dog dish caps though the tires were some funky rubber substance. Some had electric motors and clunky steerable front ends. The bodies seemed pretty good as far as accuracy was concerned and some of the cop bits were really good. Lightbars were hit and miss, some being really oversize to facilitate lights. Interiors were basic but did replicate copcar interiors well. Plymouth/Dodges had the correct steering wheels, something that we haven't seen since. I always seemed to part them out for other kits, never actually building one. G
