I have two recycled display cases. I've got about 120 finished. I'm about to run out

of room. Don't know what I'm gonna now. Got about another 130 to finished. I'll try to

get pics soon.

All great ideas guys, I have been thinking of building a display case. I saved the old Chevy bow tie from the side of the building when Chevy pulled our contract in November. Its about 4' long and 2' or so high. its about 12" deep ( to house the lamps and electrical parts of the light) I have been thinking about cutting it back about 6" so its not to thick to stick out from a wall. All aluminum. I think it would be neat with some glass shelves in it. But thats one more thing I would have to start and finish :P . A friend also recomended I talk to the owner at the hobbie shop here in town, but he is mostly into R/C stuff, and very limited on space.

With building 25 - 30 models a year...just not enough space for displaying them all

plus I enjoy building models, not collecting them.

I usually sell 85% of them on eBay, 10% are given away as gifts or built for someone...

keep maybe 5% because they're special builds for one reason or another.

My models are my art! Every one of them has a piece of me in them, so I don't sell them or get rid of them. Once completed, I proudly display them, and take them to shows or club meetings. Even the older builds get out sometimes, just like if you had a warehouse full of 1:1s you'd take them for a ride.

I've just graduated to my second old china cabinet for display.

Well I build at a snails pace (no offense meant to snails) so I have only a few that are not on display... I just put them in a model box, and label the end panel what is inside.

If I did have hundreds of built models, I might rotate the displays, take some out of storage as I pack away others.
