Dr. Cranky Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 In hopes that this helps keep you inspired and motivated and thinking about new ideas because when that happens we all benefit in eye candy!

Wagoneer81 Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I love Steampunk! There's just something about brass, leather and exotic hardwoods... I have some ideas for a couple of scale vehicles but nothing concrete yet... I'd love to Steampunk my 1:1 '81 Wagoneer, I mean it's already a dinosaur... Thanks for the videos, it's idea time!
Howard Cohen Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 That is really neat! Now I am going to search for an old typewriter and keyboard and see if I can make one of those first, even if it doesn't work I watched the model car get built over a period of time via the internet and it is one of the most creative and well done pieces I have ever seen! Thanks for the link and the ideas.
Jantrix Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I'll tell you Cranky, it was a real treat watching that one come about. Even my wife and kids tuned in every couple days to see the updates. And knowing that there is just a little bit of me in it too, just makes me smile.
ra7c7er Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Jake Van Slatt is pretty much the best source for steampunk. He is amazing and his work is considered the top of the mill for what steam punk should be.
Darren B Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 And eventually someone carries a whole movement into the hobby: was there a build thread for this beauty?
