mackinac359 Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 Here is #2 for 2011. I started this in 2004 modifying the hood, cab and fairings and making the bumper and painting the body. It sat in the box until last fall when I built the chassis. On the bench On the highway Here is where polishing pays off - I polished with 3M rubbing compound, Surf City Garage Beyond Clay and Mothers Carnuba Wax. Anymore I knock down the rivets a bit during initial construction so that they aren't so tall, that way I lessen the chance of polishing through and exposing them.
