I just bought a Hemi Cuda kit and a Photo Etch set to go with it, this is for a later time but I'd still like to know what to use to glue on the PE without damaging the paint or it fogging up.

I [and many others] use clear acrylic to attatch PE parts.

It's clear [Duh], and will not fog the part. If you mess up simply drip some thinned ammonia on it and try again.

Nick, I've used epoxy, clear paint, and tiny drops of superglue, but here is the method that has worked best for me. I first polish the photoetch scripts....get 'em nice and shiny.....then attach them using superglue BEFORE painting. After painting, I use a toothpick and lacquer thinner to carefully clean off the scripts. That way, you don't really have to worry about messing up your finish with stray glue, and the paint actually helps hold them on I believe. The photoetch scripts on this Starliner were done that way...

Yep. Best way to do it. Just brush a tiny bit of clear onto the body where you want to apply the emblem, let it tack up for a minute, then place the PE piece.

I have always used Future floor wax which now is called Pledge with Future shine. I just place the P/E part slightly to the side where it will go, dab a small amount of Future and move the P/E part onto it. Once dry, I will cover the whole part with another coat and I am done. I too like to polish the part before installing it. The best way I have found to do this is with the 3 stage sanding sticks, it leaves an incredible shine.... :D

Thank you, I'll have to get some Pledge with Future Shine.
