Cesar Bossolani Posted June 26, 2011 Author Posted June 26, 2011 When I was thinking I'm doing final assembly came an unexpected... Axis is more thin than diff and I didn't saw this on pre-assembly... Cut off axis in 2 pieces. Seeing my references pics and I could make a sleeve like as real car parts.. I lost my morning handle with this... but it's ok... Diff will be painted again and I hope they looks more real when it done... Thanks to see! More to come!! Cesar

sjordan2 Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Wow, wow and another wow. So far, this is looking like the best build I've ever seen of this model. And very few builds can stand up to the kind of macro photography you've shown us.
Romell R Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Sweet my Brother Sweet!! Oh and let me add , I saw your son (cute little guy) and its good to see him involved with our hobby. You can never start to soon.

Cesar Bossolani Posted July 10, 2011 Author Posted July 10, 2011 I finished some parts My friend Drago asked to me "why didn't you gave a special attention to diff? It's a showcar..." I'm think about it and I re-worked diff... And reference used to machined sleeve. Overhead detail. And reference pic. Wheels done, bolts are painted with aluminum and thinned black washed. Lips are machined and polished like as chrome plated I hope you like it... Comments and criticism are always welcome. Thanks to see. Cesar

Tonioseven Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 As always from you, FANTASTIC work!! I have this kit but I'm sure it will be nothing like this when I get around to it! Keep up thr great work!
Ron a.k.a. Grouchy Pants Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Man is this turning out nice That differential turned out great, mind sharing what kind of paint that is color wise and all? Thanks Ron
Cesar Bossolani Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 Thank you guys and sorry for my delayed! @Rick: You can do much more with a lathe... This is the best toy for our hobby!! Buy it if you can... you'll do a lot of great stuff for your models. @Ron: I'd used automotive Crystal Antimon Gray from 722 Mclaren.... PPG Code is mer701, with flat clear coated. I'm too near to the end, but side and rear windows are broke because a little mistake during painting... I was strip out paint with degreaser and windows cracked and broke. My great friend Cliff sent me out a windows set and when they arrive I'll paint them and the final assembly will start. Thank you guys!! Cesar
