bitner Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 I finally finished this thing. I ended up breaking the cab hinges twice, but I managed to get it done. I've never liked how the hinges work on these cab over Pete kits. They are such a bear to try and get to line up correctly. I used the red strips out of the reissue White Freightliner cab over, and some old Mongoose decals from a funny car. The cab and fairing are painted Tamiya semi gloss black. I also added some Good Year decals to the tires. The decals in the kit were almost translucent and were really bad. I ended up throwing them out and using the stripes.
