Scotch brite scrubing pads

The yellow and green kind

Cut in strips slightly wider than the tire, and as thick as the side walls.

Stuffed inside the tire with the green side against the tread side of the tire

for support.

Cut after there stuffed into the tire where they but together.

Trimed if needed for side width.

I was doing that way back!;)

I always used rolled up paper towel! Used the same method on motorcycle model tires!

You can also use caulking backer rod (foam used when gap is too big for caulking by itself) It's like round foam rope, and comes in several diameters. Used it in the Revell slicks from their 1/16th scale fuelers and F/C.

I hope you weren't trying to be green by recycling used toilet paper. dry.gif

BACK ON TOPIC looks like your idea works! I like the tread pattern on these tires but the offset soulders I think ruins the accuacy.

Mike I like your idea of the foam caulk. Do you get a federal tax brake for that ?

Hi Vince,I'm not claiming to have come up with that idea,it's just one of those things that I read somewhere sometime. No tax break either!

I'm working out of town this week, when I get home Sunday I'll
