Here's mine done in Europeon theater colors. Still ned to finish the sleletons. When I'm done the driver will have his arm hanging out the door bad boy style. I am very tempted to add wide whites to the front tires.

Those are some very nice builds. I've thought about building a Rommel hot rod. I can see a set of Pegasus 23" chrome T's in back and 19" in the front. Somebody once measured the rear fender but I don't recall the dimensions. I can't recall if the wheel/tires filled that fender or not.

Here is one I did almost the week it came out. OK, 2 weeks after it was available.

I was chomping at the bit to get after this one.

I still have another unbuilt for posterity.

A little battle damaged and some Testors Desert Tan laquer. Flags on the puter, then printed.

Fun stuff.

John’s sample of the Rommel Rod is amazing. The skeletons in the kit are crude, but John did bone up his detail skills ;) to give them a sinister look.

Here is what Mr. Teresi posted on his RR:

“I started with the reissue Rommels Rod....... inspired by a Rommels Rod built up that I saw on The Coffin Corner....... and I don`t know the name of the builder.... for there was no name....... anyway I opened the rear door and side door...... the hood is workable..... skeletons were re-worked and I added torn uniforms...... added a radio and supplies that were scratch built..... Tamiya dessert yellow paint and was weathered.... too much to mention what I did to this thing.â€
